Finding Rhythm

Feels like I have found a nice rhythm here at home, which can be hard for me to do sometimes. Being on the road has such a different feel to it, and when I get home, sometimes the transition can be challenging. But I've settled in nicely to the slow pace of the South, spending quality time with family and friends, catching up on moments missed, writing a ton of new songs, BBQ and Sweet Tea, and then of course, planning our next run of tour dates for August and Sept.! Some have been posted on the schedule. We are coming back to FL, NC, MD, PA, NY, OH, and many more so stay tuned for those schedule updates.

Also you may have noticed a minor change to the main page of our Community. I have teamed up with the Boy Scouts of America in honor of their Centennial Celebration! Very happy about this!

We have donated our song 'Love Will Come To You In Return' as part of our 'Songs for Charity Campaign' to the Boy Scouts, in an effort to raise money for the wonderful gifts given to youth through their services. If you don't have this song yet on your ipod, or if you feel like giving a little change out of your pocket ($0.99 or greater) to a great organization, you can do so by clicking HERE and either way, you will feel good! I will be playing the song live at the closing ceremonies for their Centennial GALA at Cobb Galleria on Aug. 21st. A humbling honor.

So that's what I'm up to these hot summer days. Can't complain. Oh yeah.....and if you were wondering.....I was a Boy Scout! Thanks to Mom for digging this little gem out of the ol' picture album :)
